CLOTHING & SHOE DRIVE

The Girl Up club and NHS are partnering to host a clothing and shoe drive! We are collecting all kinds of clothes and shoes. The garments will be donated to La Casita, a local organization that works to help newly immigrated people get on their feet and helps provide them with resources and items they need, and the shoes will be donated to Water Step, an organization whose mission is to help fund safe drinking water projects all over the world.

We are looking for all kinds of gently used clothing, especially for children ages 6-18, or babies of the 0-3 month age range. Any and all shoes are welcome. If they can be connected with rubber bands or tied laces, that is preferred, but all shoes are valuable and welcome, regardless of condition (as long as it isn’t a single shoe). You can drop off items on Walden's front porch. Students may also place items in the hallway outside their classrooms for collection. Thank you for your support!
