Together We’ll Succeed in life

At Walden, students are provided guidance from the first year in High School to the first year in college and beyond. Walden guides students in the realization of their post-secondary goals. The College and Career Counselor focuses on helping each student gain acceptance at a college that will fit their unique needs as well as providing support for families as they navigate the application process and the financial aspects of a college education.

AP capstone Diploma program

Walden High School is thrilled to announce we are an official AP Capstone School! We are the only independent school in Kentucky to currently offer the AP Capstone Diploma Program. The program provides a forum for students to explore their areas of interest in a rigorous classroom environment that expects college-level outcomes in their research.

To earn an AP Capstone Diploma, students have to earn a 3 or higher in 6 AP classes, including AP Seminar, AP Research, and 4 other AP classes they select. Watch the video to learn more about the exceptional program.

[My son] Jack was accepted to the IU McKinney School of Law in Indianapolis. On top of that, he received a full-tuition scholarship...It all began at Walden and I wanted to thank all of the wonderful teachers and staff who helped make this possible.
