Let’s Meet our Walden Fund goal!

Join us in giving to the 2024-25 annual Walden Fund! With the participation of our wonderful community of alumni, friends, faculty, and families, we will raise funds to support Walden's outstanding educational opportunities.

Your gifts to the 2024-25 Walden Fund will support:

  1. Financial Aid: One-third of our student population benefits from financial aid. Your contributions ensure that we can continue to provide a diverse and inclusive learning environment for all students, regardless of their financial background.

  2. Professional Development: Investing in our teachers is investing in our students. This year, we are focusing on in-depth training on Common Core Standards which will:

    • Define the knowledge and skills students should acquire in their K–12 education

    • Emphasize learning goals and end-of-year expectations

    • Equip our teachers with the tools to evaluate each student's progress and ability comprehensively, while granting them the autonomy to personalize each student’s academic pathway

  3. Green Ribbon School Recognition: We are making great strides toward being recognized as a Department of Education Green Ribbon School, teaching our students to be responsible global citizens and practice environmental sustainability. Your support will help us continue to integrate sustainable practices into our curriculum and campus operations.

Thank you for considering this important opportunity to invest in our school's brighter tomorrow. We look forward to your support and seeing the positive transformations!

Planned Giving Program

We are pleased to offer Walden School’s Planned Giving Program. This program offers a way to support Walden and leave a lasting legacy that will benefit future generations.

Planned giving is the act of arranging a charitable donation during your lifetime or as part of your estate plan. It allows you to make a meaningful contribution to Walden while also achieving your personal financial and philanthropic goals.

The walden fund provides the difference

Income from the Walden Fund helps offset the cost of tuition, which alone only covers about 90% of the school’s operating costs. This gap in funds is filled by the generous contributions of our donors and provides:

• Educator resources for professional and classroom development

• Small class sizes

• Experiential lessons on campus and beyond

• Enhanced school security

• Technology upgrades

Preserving our future

The Walden Fund is important because it preserves our unique educational environment. Your donation ensures a small classroom setting and outstanding teachers for all of our students. In addition to supporting a thriving learning atmosphere, gifts to the Walden Fund contribute to teacher and administration professional development and classroom resources.

Goodness is the only investment that never fails.
