MIddle School Science Teacher
Position Description
Walden School is seeking a Middle School Science Teacher (5th & 6th grade) for the 2026–2027 school year. We’re looking for an experienced educator with a passion for teaching science—including life, physical, and earth & space sciences—as well as engineering and design practices. This role focuses on implementing NGSS, fostering 21st-century skills, experiential learning, and student-centered pedagogy.
The ideal candidate will inspire a love of science and scientific thinking, create hands-on laboratory and inquiry-based experiences, collaborate with colleagues, and mentor students. As an advisor, you will also guide social/emotional learning in advisory lessons. Experience teaching diverse populations is highly valued.

Substitute TeacherS
Walden School is looking for substitute teachers for the 2025-2026 school year.
PURPOSE
A substitute teacher is responsible for implementing lesson plans, managing the classroom environment, and promoting student learning in the absence of the regular classroom teacher.
