Director of Literacy
FOR THE 2025-26 SCHOOL YEAR: The Director of Literacy will report to the Director of Kindergarten-6th Grade and collaborate with the Director of Student Academic Support Services. They will support K-4 students needing assistance, demonstrating rigorous standards-based teaching to teachers. The Specialist will offer one-on-one coaching, facilitate teacher inquiry, and conduct professional development to enhance teachers' abilities in building students' literacy skills, ensuring academic rigor, addressing curriculum standards, and improving student engagement and ownership of learning.
High School Social Studies Teacher
FOR THE 2025-26 SCHOOL YEAR: We are seeking a High School Social Studies teacher for the 2025-26 School Year. This role involves developing lessons that promote critical thinking about history, politics, economics, and culture while fostering student awareness of past events, current issues, and future possibilities. The teacher will also provide advisory lessons focusing on social/emotional learning. Candidates should prioritize mentoring as much as teaching. PURPOSE
A substitute teacher is responsible for implementing lesson plans, managing the classroom environment, and promoting student learning in the absence of the regular classroom teacher.
