Director of Literacy

FOR THE 2025-26 SCHOOL YEAR: The Director of Literacy will report to the Director of Kindergarten-6th Grade and collaborate with the Director of Student Academic Support Services. They will support K-4 students needing assistance, demonstrating rigorous standards-based teaching to teachers. The Specialist will offer one-on-one coaching, facilitate teacher inquiry, and conduct professional development to enhance teachers' abilities in building students' literacy skills, ensuring academic rigor, addressing curriculum standards, and improving student engagement and ownership of learning.

 
 

 
 

High School Science teacher

FOR THE 2025-26 SCHOOL YEAR: We are currently looking for a High School Science teacher for the 2025-26 school year. This position is tasked with implementing Next Generation Science Standards while centering on 21st-century skills, experiential learning, and student-centered pedagogy. We firmly believe at Walden that the most important duty of this position is developing the love of science and scientific thinking in students. Walden’s science department deeply cares about fostering inquiry-based and hands-on laboratory experiences, collaborations between colleagues, and student mentorship.

 
 

 
 

5th-6th Grade Social Studies Teacher

FOR THE 2025-26 SCHOOL YEAR: We are currently looking for a Middle School 5th-6th Grade Social Studies teacher to fill a next year vacancy with an experienced teacher who has a deep knowledge of and appreciation for teaching history including:
