  • CURRENT FAMILIES
Walden School is proud to be the first school in the state of Kentucky to implement continuous enrollment; this means your student is enrolled through graduation or unless you opt-out by March 31st of each year. If you neglect to submit your intent to opt-out request prior to March 31, your current contract will automatically renew. Please contact Erika Jackson, Director of Admissions, at ejackson@walden-school.org with any inquiries regarding enrollment.

    NEW FAMILIES
All new families will be required to make a nonrefundable $1,000 enrollment fee for the first child; $500 for each subsequent child. This amount is not applied toward tuition. In order to make this payment, you may either submit a check written to Walden School or pay the fee online through your FACTS account.

  • In recognition of the benefits the school receives from a diverse student body, the Board of Trustees affirms the school's commitment to a well-managed and equitable Financial Aid Program. Financial Aid is allocated to families at Walden School according to the following guidelines:

    • Financial Aid is allocated to families of students at Walden School based on demonstrated financial need.

    • All families wishing to apply for Financial Aid must go to the FACTS website and complete the application online.

    • All financial information will be submitted directly to FACTS.

    • The Financial Aid Committee of Walden School makes all final decisions on financial aid assistance.

    • Financial Aid grants are for one year only. Families must reapply for grants annually.

    INFORMATION FOR CURRENT WALDEN FAMILIES
All returning Walden families must apply for financial aid during the application window. The application window opens on January 1, 2023, and closes on January 31, 2023. Applicants will be notified of their award via email beginning mid-February. Since many families may not have all of their tax information by January 31, awards will be made contingent upon tax verification for those families. Applications received later than January 31 will not be considered.

We will continue to implement the FACTS financial aid assessment tool which integrates with our tuition billing and payment systems. FACTS offers 24-hour telephone support, easy to use interface, and an application fee of just $30 per family.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact Jeff Hamilton, Director of Finance and Operations, by email at jhamilton@walden-school.org or by phone (502) 893-0433.

    INFORMATION FOR NEW APPLICANTS
The financial aid application window for new families opens on February 1, 2023 and closes once funds are exhausted. Financial Aid decisions will be made and announced in mid-March.
