Walden Derby

On Thursday, April 30th, Walden’s Lower School will celebrate our very own Kentucky Derby Festival, an event that has become a favorite with our children, parents, and faculty. Included in the festivities will be the Pegasus Parade, the playing of the Run for the Roses, and the running of the Walden Derby.

To start the event, the 2nd Grade will showcase their Derby hats, followed by 1st Grade floats. Lastly, the kindergarten will participate in the Walden Derby. Thanks to Chef Krissy and her staff, Lower School students will celebrate with cookies after the event. Please join us for this tradition!
