Family Literacy Night

Join us in the Walden Library on Wednesday, November 17 for a K-4 Family Literacy Night! Grown-ups will rotate through four stations: Decoding Strategies, Comprehension Strategies, Book Selection, and a session dedicated to Walden’s response to the current national literacy debate about the Science of Reading.

During station time, your children will be engaged in play and activities with supervision. The children will join their grown-ups at the end of the evening for some reading time where the grown-ups can try out their newly acquired skills! All participants will receive a special gift for attending. RSVP for the event here.
