Back to School Film Festival

NEW! Extended Deadline
Submissions Due August 21, 2020

All K-12 students are welcome to participate in our first Back to School Film Festival! We are accepting film submissions in all genres and subject matter (of course, keep it family friendly. Films deemed inappropriate by the selection committee will not be accepted).

THERE ARE A FEW SIMPLE RULES:

  • This is a short film festival. Your final video should be between 30 seconds–3 minutes.

  • You may record your films on any device (from a cell phone to a professional camera). However, if you are using a cell phone, ROTATE IT HORIZONTALLY in landscape mode. See example.

  • Your films are due no later than Friday, August 21.

  • You may submit up to 3 films.

  • Complete this form in its entirety - email submissions will not be accepted.

WHY YOU SHOULD PARTICIPATE IN THE FILM FESTIVAL:

  • Your film will be featured in a special web series, showcased on both Walden's Facebook and Youtube pages

  • The official collection of films will be prominently featured on our website

  • Your friends, family, and entire Walden community will love the videos and be really proud of you

  • It looks great on a resume

  • You will automatically be entered into a chance to win a $50-$100 Amazon Gift card!

We look forward to receiving your film submissions. The film festival will premiere during the week of August 24-28. Now go forth and create cinematic masterpieces!
