Attention 8th Graders
Join the Walden Honor Band
Are you an 8th Grader with a passion for making music, working with others to achieve a common goal, and looking to connect with other like minded individuals? If you have two or more years of experience on your instrument, or the equivalent in private instruction, the Walden Honor Band wants you!
WHAT IS AN HONOR BAND?
Consisting of musicians from Walden’s High School and 8th grade, the Walden Honor Band experiences the art of making music at an accelerated rate. It is designed to challenge each participant while striving for excellence through performance. For 8th Graders, this opportunity is extracurricular, meeting after school two days per week on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
WHEN ARE THE MEETING TIMES?
Tuesdays and Wednesdays after school in the new Music Hall from 3:30-4:10pm.
WHEN ARE THE PERFORMANCES?
Tentatively, there are two performances this group will take advantage of: the Winter Concert on Thursday, December 19 and The Spring Concert on May 14, 2020.
