4th Grade Parents – Please join us on Wednesday, February 25, from 8:00–9:00am for Meet in the Middle, a parent gathering designed to introduce families to the early middle school years at Walden.

The transition to middle school is an important milestone for students—and parents alike. Whether you’re feeling curious, excited, or a little surprised by how quickly this moment has arrived, this morning is an opportunity to learn more about what lies ahead for your child.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

  • A conversation with Mrs. Kelly Von Busch in Tucker Assembly Hall

  • An overview of why Walden begins Middle School in 5th grade

  • A look at the curriculum, daily schedule, and what defines the early middle school experience

  • Time for questions and discussion

Following the presentation, parents will be invited into classrooms to meet and get to know the 5th and 6th Grade teaching team.
