Walden School Green Space
Friday, August 13
6:00-8:00pm

Thoreau Down is back with some old favorites plus some new fun! Immediately following Meet Your Desk, continue reconnecting with your Walden family while enjoying picnic-style food from Flik, Walden’s new food service provider ($5/plate), and listening to live music from Hog Operation. 

Feel free to bring blankets or chairs and make it a real picnic! (Limited tables also available). Thanks to the sponsorship of the WPA, kids can enjoy an inflatable slide and obstacle course, face painting, and popcorn, and everyone can beat the heat with a cool treat from Steel City Pops (available for purchase).

NEW THIS YEAR - we’ll have a dunk tank where you can buy chances to dunk some familiar faces! (1 throw for $2, or 3 for $5)

  • 5:30-5:45pm – Leslie Logsdon

  • 5:45-6:00pm – Jayne Ernstberger 

  • 6:00-6:15pm – David Gross
