HURRICANE RELIEF BLOOD DRIVE
American Red Cross
HURRICANE BLOOD DRIVE
MONDAY, OCTOBER 29 • 1:00-6:00PM
Last year, we partnered with the American Red Cross to help provide relief for those affected by Hurricane Maria. We had over 30 donors sign up and over 35 pints of blood were collected. This year, Walden is hosting a blood drive on Monday, October 29 from 1:00pm to 6:00pm to support Hurricane Florence relief efforts. This is an opportunity for our community to demonstrate compassion and social responsibility by helping ensure that an adequate blood supply is available for those who need it.
DID YOU KNOW?
Giving blood is safe, simple and helps save lives. One pint of blood = up to 3 lives saved. The American Red Cross is the largest single provider of blood in the United States. Every 2 seconds in America, someone needs blood.
WHO CAN DONATE?
If you are at least 17 years old or 16 years old with a signed Red Cross parent/guardian consent form, weigh at least 110 pounds and are in good health. Sign up by clicking the link below and entering the sponsor code: WaldenSchoolLou
