Reading, learning, and growing together

Read Across Walden
Friday, March 6 • 9:45-10:30

As part of our strategic plan, our faculty values the importance of building relationships between divisions, teachers, and students. Mrs. Ernstberger and Mrs. Brown created 12 families consisting of students in grades K-12. Each family has approximately 24 students and 3 teachers. The idea of families is an extension of our already implemented buddy times that the students participate in every year. Our families will be named after a tree species that is planted in our green space. This year, each family will gather together for three events: Read Across Walden (March 6), Walden’s Day of Service (March 27) and Walden’s Field Day (May 15).
