The Walden Encore is back! We are inviting all students, K-12, to submit a short video (30 seconds) showcasing a snippet of their "talent." This can include traditional acts, such as singing, dancing, and acting, but can also include submissions like a poetry reading, a comedy routine, fine arts display, computer programming, gymnastics, licking your elbow... ANYTHING!
The more submissions the merrier! Since there's a lot of us here at Walden, we won't be able to showcase every single LIVE act on April 26. Instead, we will select certain submissions to be performed and will have a video montage featuring as many of the video submissions as we can to ensure our program only lasts a couple of hours.
How to submit your videos
Our goal is to make the submission process very simple and efficient. Since most of you will most likely be submitting videos via smartphone (recommended), we are asking that you simply fill out the form below and upload a video (25mb or less) or fill out a description of your student's act.
Please be sure to turn your phone HORIZONTALLY so that the videos will fit a standard tv screen (see picture).
The video should contain a brief sample of your student's talent (please try to keep this no longer than 30 seconds). Students are more than welcome to partner up or submit as a group if it makes sense for their talent. All submissions are due by end of day, Friday, April 13.
