Steps for application
Our enrollment process ensures your child is prepared to live abroad and fulfill the requirements for studying at Walden.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUBMIT
1. Walden online application
2. $1,500 annual processing fee on top of published tuition
3. Proof of income (bank statement) showing that you can pay first year’s tuition and board
4. Proof of health insurance. Providers we recommend are:
5. Host family information and parent's information
6. Two letters of recommendation
7. A scheduled Zoom interview in order to understand English proficiency
8. F1 Visa issued by Walden School

Where is Walden?
Walden School is located in the city of Louisville, Kentucky. Founded in 1778 along the shores of the Ohio River, this unique metropolis boasts an exciting range of arts, music, food and culture. In addition to many museums, performance venues, parks and restaurants, Louisville is renowned for its affiliation with sports. The city hosts the famed Kentucky Derby horse race every year at Churchill Downs and Major League baseball bats are produced downtown at the Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory.
