Together, we stand for equality and justice.

Our nation is engaging in an urgent and much-needed conversation about racial injustice in this country.

At Walden, we recognize the importance of the current moment and want to assist our families and, particularly, our students, as they process and take part in this national dialogue. Please find below resources that can help you navigate discussions with your child(ren) regarding questions or concerns they may have as well as constructive ways to inspire change.*

*Please note that this initial list contains a small sampling of resources available for families. Through time, we anticipate this page to further develop through the expressed feedback and interests of our community.

2021 Racial Justice Zine

Presenting Walden's 2021 High School Racial Justice class final project - the class included 22 students in Grades 9-12. For their final project, they each researched a topic and created "zine" (short for magazine) pages featuring written/multimedia work, a video, or a work of art.

The pages also include action steps that you can take to make a difference on the issues presented on the pages. Their work is an amazing testimony to the social conscientiousness of Walden students on pressing, topical issues.
