HOST-A-TOTE

February 8-26

Lower School will be participating in Host-A-Tote the weeks of February 8-26. The Host-A-Tote helps to fill bags to benefit families and heart patients affected by Congenital Heart Defect during their stay in the hospital for open-heart surgery and/or for a heart catheterization.

Winter Wilcher, a 2nd Grader at Walden, and her brother, Clark have endured open-heart surgery. Their mom, Kelly Wilcher, is the Conquering CHD chapter hospital coordinator. The list of new items below will help make hospital stays a little easier for the families.

The following items will be picked up, sorted, and delivered to local families.

List of New Items to Donate

  • Travel size toiletries (shampoo, body wash, travel toothbrush, and toothpaste..etc)

  • Fuzzy Socks

  • Activity books/coloring books

  • 8 ct. packs of crayons

  • Playdoh

  • Travel games

  • Fleece blankets
