On Thursday, April 29th, Walden’s Lower School will celebrate our very own Kentucky Derby Festival, an event that has become a favorite with our children, parents, and faculty. Included in the festivities will be the Pegasus Parade and the running of the Oaks and Derby.

To start the event, the 3rd Grade will show off their Derby hats. Then, 2nd Grade floats will parade down the carpool blacktop. Next, 1st Grade will run for the lilies. And lastly, the Kindergarten class will run for the roses. Thanks to the Walden Parent Association, Lower School will be celebrating with popsicles after the event.
